Tomorrow is the last day to get your FREE Card Kit with the Hearts Come Home Bundle from me, I wanted to share a few more ideas.
Snow Globe Shaker Card
Shaker cards are so much fun to make (and to receive) and the Foam Adhesive Strips make them easy to make. Notice how the Everyday Label Punch is used to make the snow globe base. How to make the rest of the card is shown in the video at the end of this post.
Watercolor Strip Card
I made this card with Shimmery White Card Stock and asked Tim to make his version of this technique on our Facebook Live below. Here is his version.
To create this look, sticky notes are placed across the card as a mask. Aqua Painters and Ink Pads are used to paint. Some of the wet ink seeps under the sticky notes giving the borders this interesting look.
Watercolor Background Card
Using the Aqua Painters again, but this time with Ink Refills on Watercolor Card Stock, gives a vibrant look to this card.
Sponging Technique for Shading
Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Ink Pads were used to create this moon.
Sponging and Tearing to Create Mountains
Tim made this card a few weeks ago on our Facebook Live.
All of the cards so far have used the Hometown Greetings Dies. Now let’s look at a couple of cards made with the Hearts Come Home stamp set.
Clean and Simple House Card
Three Stitched Squares in three different colors were used to create this card. Notice that the “stitching” lines are on all of the edges of the grass, sky, and sun.
Build a Picture
Combing Hearts Come Home with the Work of Art stamp set gives you so many elements to play with. Here is that lovely house in the woods on a lake that so many dream about.
