The beautiful Dragonfly Dreams bundle includes a sweet little bee – I made many dragonfly cards before I even thought to use the bee. It needed some honeycomb so here are two ways I made that. (There is a video tutorial at the end of this post.)
For this card, start with sponging Chocolate Chip Ink across the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (how is that for a mouthful?). Use the inside back of the folder that has “Stampin’ Up!” on it.
Next, run a piece of 5″ x 3 3/4″ of Delightful Dijon through the Big Shot with that folder. Notice how the ink has added the lines around the hexagons.
Cut out the honeycomb any way you want to – you will have enough to make two cards with this one piece.
Add the bee (I added some Wink of Stella) and words!
For this card, I changed the color to Crushed Curry.
Use the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes and cut out several. Then turn the square 90 degrees and run through again. Confusing? Just watch this short video.
