In this era of fast food and eating-on-the-run, isn’t it an amazing experience when someone cooks a homemade meal for you? For this, the second Day of Gratitude, let someone know how much that means to you!
By the way, this is from the Get Well Soup stamp, but it’s not just for chicken soup when you have the flu …
1. I stamped the cup of soup on Whisper White card stock, then cut around it leaving off the words. Now its a bowl of stew, soup, noodles … anything to feed the soul as well as the body!
2. Next, stamp the cup on a piece of the Pretty Petals Designer Paper Stack and cut out just the bowl. Layer that on the Whisper White. This stamping technique is called Paper Piecing and its a great fit for this stamp. Make your bowl as ornate or as plain as you want it to be!!!
3. I layered a different piece of Pretty Petals DSP on the base card of Whisper White, attaching it with some of the Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape. (That set of five black and white patterned Washi Tape is my go-to set because I love edging papers in black!)
Now … to write on the inside, thanking a special someone for a special food that was prepared for you. Who are you going to thank and what was that meal?
Thank You Card for a Wonderful Meal!
