For a totally different, but elegant, Christmas tree look, try this idea using the doilies from the Flirtatious Specialty designer series paper. The 4 sheets of doily paper are Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie, but when you flip them over, the other side is white. That is the side we are using. Cut out any of the doilies. Each doily will make 6 trees and with several different doily styles, you will get several different styles of trees as well.
Cut each doily in half and then each half in thirds. For the pearls, use the part of the Basic Pearls that has them in strips. Cut a strip of 4, a strip of 7, and a strip of 10 and attach those to the tree, following the curve of the doily. A single pearl goes on the top.
The words from the Christmas Lodge stamp set and the silver glimmer paper finish off the look.
Watch for a "do-over" in this video. I don't know how to edit yet, so I left it as is……but hopefully, by next week, I will know how to do this so you won't have to see it happen again!
