Gift your handmade cards with style with this easy greeting card holder. No adhesive needed!
This card folder is made with one 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock and five handmade greeting cards.
Four of the greeting cards with envelopes will go inside of the card folder and the fifth is for the card front. (I always choose my favorites for that!)
One stamp set certainly can make a variety of gorgeous covers.
I make about 75 of these each year to give my customers in December. This is a gift that keeps on giving, because the receiver can put their own cards – or any other gift item that fits – and give it to someone else!
Isn’t this a great way to create memorable gifts with your handmade cards? They are perfect to keep on hand when you need a last minute host gift or thank you gift!
In the video below we share some tips for mass producing these easy card holders.
How to Make the Easiest Greeting Card Folder Ever!
Score an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in half @ 5-1/2″. Rotate and score along the long edge @ 2″.
Cut angles along the fold lines up to the 2″ line.
Fold up the flaps on the inside of the folder and add a card front to the front.
Use a small piece of cardstock as a measuring guide for punching holes along the sides.
String ribbon through the holes to look like this. The ribbon along with the folded up flaps will keep the cards in. How easy is that?
Add two cards and envelopes to each side of the folder. Close up and tie. Your lovely gift is finished!
