Want a more traditional Christmas look? This Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper will give you that.
For masculine cards, the He’s the Man Designer Series Paper includes so many die cuts including this van and tree. How easy is that for card making?
The Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper is another paper that makes gorgeous cards with no stamping needed. (Just a little fussy cutting!)
This card made with the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper also used the Season of Chic Bundle. Notice how the the shell die cuts out both the stamped shell and a piece of white cardstock to stamp the sentiment on. The detailed gold die cut shell can stand alone like its is used on this card, or it can be layered on the base shell die. (So many possibilities … so little time!)
Isn’t it amazing how the same easy fun fold card design works for any occasion and with any paper?
Now – for how easy this is to make.
Start with an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock. Cut it at the 5-1/2″ mark like the photo shows.
This will leave you with a 3″ x 11″ piece of card stock which you will cut at 6″. Now you have the two pieces. you need for this card and you can save the 3″ x 5″ piece for a future project.
These are the pieces you will need.
Score the base card along the 11″ edge at 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″. Accordian fold.
Add the extra pieces.
Put adhesive on the two outside edges of the 6″ x 3″ piece of card stock and attach it to the card base like this.
Add your sentiments and embellishments to the smaller piece and your card if finished!
You will have fun repeating this with different paper!!!
There is a video below where we make several of these cards, so enjoy watching that – but first, we want to see what you create! Be sure to join us in our Back Porch Stampers facebook group where we all share what we are working on – and there is Weekly Challenge with a prize too. The challenge for this next week is to post your side accordian panel card. The more ideas we all see – the more creative we all become!!!!

I really love your creative ideas and your willingness to share. I think though you might have a typo on the this project sheet. I believe from your video the DSP should be 1 1/2 and not 1 1/4. Thought you would like to know
