Such an exciting day! The brand new 2016 -2017 Stampin’ Up! catalog is live!!! Click on the link on the right side bar to see it if you haven’t received your catalog yet … or, better yet, let me know you need one and I will pop it in the mail today!
I couldn’t wait to play with this Floral Phrases stamp set!
For inspiration I used this Global Design Project
#GDP038 sketch by Teneale Williams.
One of the many pillow gifts we received on the SU! trip was the entire suite of products on p. 77 of the new catalog: the Floral Phrases Stamp Set, the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies, the Floral Boutique Designer Washi Tape, the Floral Designer Series Paper, and the Solid Night of Navy Solid Baker’s Twine!
For this card, I just used two of those products: the Floral Phrases stamp set and the Washi Tape.
I love CAS (clean and simple) cards that are still classy. This Navy and White, with a hint of yellow, is perfect for a wedding or anniversary card.
Notice how, after stamping the flower in Night of Navy, I simply went back and stamped it in Daffodil Delight from the other direction. A strip of Washi Tape down the side, popped up words, and a few sequins … all done!
It is Happy Shopping Day … and remember to let me know if you need the catalog!
This card is stunning, Karen! I love how you’ve stamped the Daffodil Delight images to offset the blue. Such a great collection! Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge!
Oh so beautiful Karen! I cannot wait for this suite to arrive in my BBB. Thanks so much for joining in with this week’s Global Design Project sketch!
I love a CAS card Karen. Great colour choice! Well done and Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project challenge xx
Beautiful card Miss Karen! Love the elegance and the simplicity. Thanks for sharing the inspiration. Love it with the Daffodil. Might have to try it with Wisteria or Sugarplum as well.
Thanks so much and I think those colors would be great!
