For fun little gift ideas for kids … how about a card that includes a little gift? The Yummy in my Tummy stamp set is perfect for this!
Play Dough in the Monster’s Tummy
I set this card by my grandson’s breakfast plate after an overnight at our house and he could hardly wait to finish eating. He was so intrigued that the play dough was the belly!
Here are his “finished” projects for the day. Legos go with everything, you know!
Was he happy?
Candy in the Monster’s Tummy
What a fun way to package a little treat!
When this same grandson was younger, his favorite book was the Messy Monsters. We read it frontwards, backwards and upside down (his favorite) and, of course, he could “read along” since he knew it so well.
This stamp set reminded me of this book – so I also read this book to him again.
I have done this with other books as well – have you? I would love to hear your stories about making a card in memory of – or to go with – a book!
Yummy in My Tummy Monster with Hearts
Using the hearts from the Love Notes Framelits Dies, this monster has a string of hearts for you! It makes a fun surprise when you open the card.
These three projects were made during this Facebook Live video – you can fast forward to the Yummy in My Tummy projects part.
Karen & Tim Live: Valentine Edition
Usually I am mass producing cards – for classes, card kits, downline – or just having fun creating with a new stamp set. I don’t very often create a specific card for a specific reason for a specific person. It was really fun to do this!
I know that many of you create that way often! What was the last card you made this way?
