Hand stamped card idea for baby: I Dig You!

Tim and I became grandparents today!

Our first grandchild, a boy name Cael Timothy, was born this morning and we were fortunate to be here to greet him! We traveled the 400 miles from Minneapolis to Chicago yesterday and will spend a few days here with him and his family. How precious is new life!

This is the hand stamped card I had made for baby shower invitations for him a few months ago. It was fun to do a baby card without it being "baby stamps". I used the colors of the baby's room (white, gray, navy and orange) so it felt very personalized. The I Dig You! stamp set will be used over many years. I love the sayings in this set: "happy dirtday!" and "I dig you!" I can see it being used on scrapbook pages too. Besides this gravel truck and little animals, it has dirt, of course, gifts and two machines – whatever their names are. (Just ask a 3 year old.)

The clouds are made with the Scallop Oval Punch.
