“You make me happy” fits the day! I’ll tell you why in a minute, but for a different look, I put the tall flowers from the Happy Watercolor stamp set at right angles. This would make a great Mother’s Day card too. The large “happy Mother’s Day” word stamp in the My Mother stamp set would fit this card perfectly!
Happy Watercolor is going away soon! Its in the Everyday Occasions Catalog which ends on June 1 and its not in the new catalog, so get it now!
Here are two more cards made with this set:
This is a quick post because I’m staying with my 89 year old mom who fell and fractured a bone in her spine. I was with her last week while she was recovering from surgery and now, just a few days later, I’m back with her again.
How many of you are in this situation of providing care for someone? It is certainly an important part of life.
I am so grateful for my job as a SU! demonstrator that allows me the freedom to be where I need to be. I’m especially grateful for you, my customers, that make this possible. So this card is for you! You make me happy!
Beautiful card, thanks for sharing. I’m sorry sorry to hear about your mum, at 89 recovery can be a very slow process, I’m sure she is glad to have you there with her. Having a flexible job is so important at times like this isn’t it? When my Mum was ill my work was great about swapping my hours around to fit with her hospital appointments etc, I will always be grateful for that.
This is super adorable! Love it!
Thanks for joining the Link Up this week!

I fell in love with it immediately so congratulations – you are featured once again at Inspire Me Monday at Create With Joy! 🙂
P.S. Are you familiar with the meme Pink Saturday? This would be a PERFECT card to share with them as well! 🙂
This is lovely! Love the watercolor behind the flower and those flower borders.
Beautiful cards Karen.

Thank you so much, Winnie!
Beautiful cards!! I have recently started using some COPIC markers (adding a couple as $$ allows to my “try out” set of Hobby Lobby brand Alcohol Marker) would like to know how you did the “stitch” indentions on the THANK YOU card with the single flower. Can you tell me? thanks a lot!!
Gail, thanks so much for your comment! I loved our conversation today too! Here is a link to how that card is made. (Its really an easy technique!)
