Check out these fun ways – first with Stampin’ Blends!
Turn your paper over and look at the back side. I think this one looks like fold art.
I used the narrow tip of the blends to go over the outlines, but it also looks great without doing that. Try a narrow tip black pen to do the outlines for an entirely different look.
This design made me think of flowers so I added centers to each flower with a Stampin’ Blend.
Coloring this sheet of Flowering Foils with different colors reminded me of a quilt – so I added enamel dots in the centers.
Speaking of quilts, This makes a great modern quilt look. We have an old quilt hanging over our sofa and it doesn’t hang perfectly even either.
Using the Stampin’ Spritzer with some water and ink refill gives a nice, soft look to the background. Up close, it looks marbelized.
Aqua painters were used to created this card.
Did you know you can add color using Wink of Stella too? It leaves a lovely shimmery look that this photo doesn’t do justice to!
Sponges are great for adding colors quickly to a background.
Changing up the colors of the ink pads you are using, its easy to create an ombre look.
Sponge daubers are fun to use too – and will give a soft look.
Wondering how to do any of these coloring techniques?
