Enjoy these quick & easy cards from the So Much Love stamp set & the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set.
Even bridge cards are quick and easy — keep on scrolling to get the measurements for making those!
First – So Much Love stamp set. Let’s start with just one color – how striking is this monochromatic card in Misty Moonlight?
Use a blender pen to “paint” the image – it pulls some of the color out from the image – so no extra color was added. Bermuda Bay ink was used for this card.
Add a layer of vellum to soften the look.
Stamping the images on two corners of the card front still leaves plenty of room for the words.
This card uses the “spotlighting” technique. Notice how just the smallest piece is colored.
Lay the smaller piece on top of the card front before stamping to get this look.
Have you tired a bridge card yet? It stand up beautifully like this, but folds flat to mail in a regular size envelope.
This card base is 8″ x 4-1/2″. Score at 1-1/4″ and 2-1/2″ on each side and fold. Add four 1″ x 4″ and one 2-3/4″ x 4″ strips of Designer Series Paper and decorate. The bridge itself is 5-1/2″ long – and whatever width you want it to be. You can see this card being made in the video above.
Now- the second free stamp set – the Queen Anne’s Lace set. You can always make a really quick card with the smaller Notecards & Envelopes. (This size still goes by regular mail.)
Using White Craft Ink on dark cardstock gives a soft, pretty white look.
Stamping on Designer Series Paper gives a nice built in background for your card. (This is the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper along with the In Color Paper Stack)
For a different look, cut the main image into three different sizes and pop up on the card.
Just think of all of the cards you can make with the So Much Love stamp set and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set. And for September you can get them FREE with the Starter Kit!!!!
