I rarely write a blog post on a Sunday, preferring to keep that family time, but tonight I am in a reflective mood and thinking about Stampin’ Up! and you.
I am home for 2 days, then going back to Jackson to be with my MIL who is in hospice. She doesn’t speak much anymore, or even open her eyes, but the minute someone comes in she reaches out her hand to be held. When we let go of her hand, even just to answer the phone, she is moving it around looking for it again.
She never was a “touchy-feeling” person. Tim doesn’t think he even ever held her hand before. But now, this is such a simple, but meaningful thing we can do for her.
So…..I will be spending my week holding her hand with my left hand, and working on the computer with my right! I am looking forward to it! I am feeling grateful that I can take the time to be with her all week and still be able to do some of my work. That is one of the many blessings Stampin’ Up! has given me.
And…..as for you……I cancelled all of my classes last week, and I want to thank those of you who have still placed an order with me, either through my online store or by phone or email. I cannot even tell you how much that has been appreciated!
Tomorrow is the last day of Sale-a-bration and if there is anything else you want, please let me know what I can do for you….and, if you have given any thought to doing what I do, please talk to me about that too. I am always just an email or a phone call away – and I would love to chat with you either way! So thanks, readers, and have a wonderful week!
Karen (P.S. today I made a record 8 videos so I can put out blog posts the rest of this week!)
