Mass produce cards while making each one different! This Stack, Slice & Shuffle Technique makes easy quilt cards.
These butterfly cards are made with the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper.
Since you are making three cards at a time, just change up the Designer Series Paper you are using for each set and they will all be unique.
All of these cards use only the papers. These lovely flowers in the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper can be cut out with coordinating dies..
Celebrate tea drinkers with the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper.
Black and white is always stunning. This is the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper.
The Texture Chic Designer Series Paper is foiled and has flowers, leaves and shells in addition to the fun designs.
How to make these Stack, Slice & Shuffle Quilt Cards.
- Start with three pieces of 5″ x 3-3/4″ Designer Series Paper.
- Stack the three papers and cut through all at the same time at an angle.
- Make another cut like this so you have three separate piles.
- Now for the shuffle. Leave one pile as is. Remove the top piece of the second pile and put it on the bottom. Remove two pieces from the third and put those on the bottom.
Now you will have three separate patterns for each card.
Cut three 5″ x 3-3/4″ pieces of white cardstock. Take one at a time and attach the three pieces of Designer Series Paper.
Add these to the card bases.

I recently discovered you and your husband’s tutorials. You are both so refreshing! What a team! This weekend I’ve made the 6×6 fun fold and Easy Peasy quilt cards for myself.
I do have a local Stampin Up consultant.
I work with her for our church’s monthly Card Ministry. We make cards for those ill, home bound long-term, grieving, etc. You have quite a fan club. I really enjoyed listening to you read the cards from your fans across the country!
Blessings to you both! Nancy
I tried your cut and shuffle technique to make Halloween cards. So much fun. Wish I could leave you pictures. Thanks for sharing your creative talent with us.
I love that you work with your church’s card ministry!
