I have a video today to show the Stampin' Up! Petite Purse Die Projects 1 and 2. First I will show pictures of the two projects.
Both of today's projects use the new Comfort Cafe Designer
Series Paper.
First is the little purse itself. This example was made with one sheet of paper run through the Big Shot with the Petite Purse Die. It was folded on all of the score lines and then assembled with a bit of snail. The antique brad provides the closure.
Doesn't this look classy done with this soft suede pattern? Making it with brightly flowered paper would give it an entirely different look.
These would make great party favors done in different papers from the same Designer Series Papers.
And now for the second project we have this fun card:
Watching the video below will
show you which part of the
die you will use for this purse.
The sides and bottom of the
purse are folded under to give
a more three dimensional look.
Again, the antique brad makes
the closure. I love the herringbone
look of this purse.
You will notice the background
of the card uses two pieces of
card stock run through the BIg
Shot with the Top Note Die.
On one layer, you cut right along
the notched border accents
and it gives it a pretty and narrow
extra layer of color.
This video will walk you step by step in making both of these projects.
Don't you love that all of the Stampin' Up! Dies can be used in so many different ways?
Later this week I will be posting a video showing two more projects done with this Petite Purse Die and the
Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper so watch for that. Today was for the Stampin' Up! Petite Purse Die
