Tim served a salad luncheon for three rounds of card makers!
His famous Chicken Cashew Salad makes a frequent appearance at my events. The recipe for this can be found by clicking here!
(On this post, you can also read about the first time he made this salad – and what made him start cooking for the stampers.)
You will see the recipe for the other salad he served below these pictures!
Oriental Ramen Broccoli Cole Slaw
2 (3 ounce) packages beef-flavor ramen noodles
2 (8 1/2 ounce) packages broccoli coleslaw mix
1 cup toasted slivered almonds 1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 bunch green onion, chopped 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil 1/3 cup white vinegar
Directions:
1. Crush noodles before opening. Then open and put them in the bottom of a large bowl. Top noodles with broccoli slaw, then almonds, sunflower seeds, and green onions.
2. In separate bowl, combine sugar, oil, vinegar, and flavor packets from noodles. Pour over slaw and chill up to 24 hours.
* Toss right before serving.
