Happy New Year! It’s 2025, and we’re kicking things off with stories, laughs, and a look at what’s ahead. In this episode, we talk about how we’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve over the years and shared some funny and sweet memories. Hank, who’s now a teenager, has been spending New Year’s Eve with us since he was a baby! We even laughed about the time he got sick in our car on New Year’s Eve—gross, but a story we’ll never forget!
Over the years, our celebrations have changed. When Hank was little, we played games and ran around, but now we spend time figuring out technology and just hanging out. Even though things are quieter now, they’re just as special. It’s fun to see how traditions grow and change over time.
We also shared some favorite memories from last year. The best memories are often the little things—like sitting on a porch, hearing the waves, or being surprised with a fun trip.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited for what’s next. Hank got a new camera (and shared the touching story of how he got it) and can’t wait to take cool pictures. We’re also looking forward to spending more time with our amazing crafting community and sharing more laughs together. Speaking of laughs, we ended the podcast by talking about some funny cards we’ve received. Starting the year with humor and kindness feels just right!
What about you? What was your favorite memory from last year? And what are you most excited about for 2025? Let’s make it a year full of fun and creativity. Happy New Year!
