First, a picture of the best salmon I ever had! The veggies were cooked right on top of it!
I also loved this fish soup which I had at two different houses. (If you ever visit Norway, I hope you like fish! Of course, the fish also tastes better there!)
First, the recipe in Norwegian:
Rask og enkel fiskesuppe:
1 løk
1-2 fedd kvitløk
1 liter kokende vatn tilsatt 3 terninger fiskebuljong
1 purreløk
1 boks matfløte (3 dl)
Fisk, for eksempel:
1/2 pakke blokkfrossen sei
2 fileter aure el laks uten skinn
1 boks blåskjell
1 boks reker
Finklippet dill
Start med å frese løk og kvitløk blank i godt smør. Tilsett buljongvatn og
kok opp. Kutt purreløken i ringer og ha i gryta. La dette koke noen minutter
(ca 5), før matfløten tilsettes. Skjær fisken i store terninger og ha i
gryta. La alt trekke til fiskestykkene er ferdig. Tilsett blåskjell og reker
til slutt, sammen med en raus neve finklippet dill. Serveres med grove
rundstykker.VELBEKOMME!!
(In english:)
Fishsoup, quick and easy to make:
1 onion
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 liter boiling water with fish bouillon
3 deciliters cream (the type that can simmer..)
Fish, f.ex:
You can choose what kind of fish you like, I suggest trout/salmon and
coalfish, same amount. All together about 300-400 grams.
1 can of shrimps (add as much as you like)
1 can of mussels
Dill (quite a lot)
Start by frying onion and garlic in a pot with a fair amount of butter. Add
the bouillon water and make it cook. Slice the leek into rings and throw it
into the pot. This should simmer for about 5 mins, before adding the cream.
Cut the fish into rather big squares and mix it with the rest. Let it all
simmer until the fish is ready. At last add shrimps and mussels, together
with a the right amount of dill. Serve with rolls. Bon Appetit!!
Thanks to Anne and Morten for sharing this recipe!
So good! I was there to enjoy these dishes at the same time as Tim.
