This was a feat that shouldn’t be attempted soon after surgery….but Fiji is a beautiful country with beautiful weather and the most gracious people. Their hospitality was second to none.
If you k
now Karen, you know she doesn’t try to get pictures taken with the important people……..but thats not me! Here I am with Shelli and Sterling:
This would be one of Karen’s favorite spots…..
along with this, of course.
Each night there were pillow gifts waiting for us on our bed. Some of them were even for the spouses!
These are just some of the gifts.
Each day the demonstrators got to play this game to get some free Stampin’ Up! products! (there was no limit to the number of tries, either!)
Our last evening meal was served outdoors and we were serenaded by a Children’s Choir.
One of my most treasured memories came each morning down by the beach, when the men that worked at the boat and surf shop gathered together and sang praise songs a cappella, in their Fijian language. They sounded as if they were a professionally trained choir.
My favorite food story is around breakfast in the open air restaurant where birds would fly in and out, scavenging for food left on plates, even if it was a completely untouched breakfast which had been left unattended for just a moment to get some coffee.
Don’t we look relaxed?
Below are a few more pictures from Fiji.

Oh man, I hate it that I missed the guys singing in the morning – we were out there early (what mornings we didn’t have an early trip) I would have loved to have heard that! Was great to see you both.
Thanks for commenting, Kathy…..and I’m sorry we missed your exciting trip into town to the dentist!
