Card stories to share with you today – some are heartwarming, some amusing!
On World Card Day I was traveling and couldn’t offer an event, so I just posed a question on my Facebook page:
Who are you making a card for or sending a card to today?
Just look at some of the responses! From very touching..

and one – never happens anymore now that we have computers! (who else had pen pals in grade school?)
I’m sending a card to my friend, Kelly. In fifth grade, her name was one of hundreds of students I could choose from as a pen pal. She was from Oregon. I was from Maine. I wrote my first letter to her when I was 10 years old. Forty-four years later, we are good friends. We see each other every few years. We communicate via text, Facebook, 2-hour phone chats and cards. If it had not been for that pen pal project, we would have never met. (Ann P)
