Wonderful Washi Tape Tip #2: Ruffle it to make a flower!
The flowers on both cards are made with the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape.
This first card shows just the flower on Whisper White card stock with a word stamp in the middle from A Round Array and another word stamp from Banner Greetings. I like how these words go together: “You make me smile! Happy Birthday!”
Both Banner Greetings and A Round Array have other word choices as well so this card could fit many different occasions.
This second card shows color blocking as a technique to add more color to the card. I used Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo card stock which are the colors in the Washi Tape and I put the small pieces through the Chevron folder.
The video below will show how to make this quick and easy flower from Washi Tape.
P.S. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may have noticed I missed posting a couple of days this week…..and there was no Wednesday Newsletter sent out either. My computer died and I am trying to get started on a different computer. I’m slowly getting it up and running, but even moving from XP to Windows 7 is a challenge! Thanks for being patient with me and we should be back to regular scheduling as of right now!
