The Little Dreamers Bundle works well with the Stargazing Designer Series Paper, which includes both the night sky and the colorful sides. Instead of the cow jumping over the moon, we have the cow resting and the elephant jumping.
And for that kid of any age who loves space! This card uses the same Stargazing Designer Series Paper but paired this time with the Reach for the Stars Bundle.
The Reach for the Stars Dies actually cut out the planets from this Designer Series Paper.
Have you noticed how often I use the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper? What a fun birthday card using the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.
The blank circle is for writing your personal greeting (unless you want to stamp another sentiment). Usually on cards like this, I write on the back of the card.
Now for an elegant look. The Cheerful Daisies Bundle with the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper give you lots of different combinations to work with.
These sentiments are from the Handmade Hugs stamp set.
Simplified Angle Trifold Card
Before we look at the step by step instructions, let’s look at a basic card with no layers. Its fun to look at a basic fun fold and then look at variations of that theme!
Those adorable animals from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper are paired with sentiments from the Fun on Wheels stamp set. What a great saying “At every turn of life may you find adventure”.
All you need to create this card is an 11″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper scored @ 4″ and 8″.
Use your paper trimmer to cut an angle from about 3″ down on the left side straight to the top corner right edge.
Fold and decorate! How easy is that?
Now let’s change this basic angled trifold card to using 11″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock. It will give a different look but the basic fold stays the same.
For this card, the width of the pieces for each panel is the same as for the other cards. For the height, just cut along the paper to highlight the mountains or remove them.
Directions for Making an Angled Trifold Card
You will get two cards from one 11″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock.
Lay the long side of the cardstock along the top of the Scoreboard or Paper Trimmer. Score @ 4-1/4″ and 8″.
Cut three pieces of cardstock to create the templates for the panels.
In the video below I share different ways of cutting the panels for this card. One of the ways is just cutting the Designer Series Paper these sizes.
I personally love using templates because I can store them with the card base instructions. All of the information I need is right there.
This is what my template looks like. I even drew a diagram of how to cut the 11″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock on the back side.
