It is the middle of March in Minnesota and we are enjoying temperatures in the upper 60s. It certainly feels like spring, so even thought the calendar does not fit this weather, I am using Bright Blossoms for spring card making ideas! I actually made these cards while sitting out on my back deck.
Doesn't this make you think of enjoying spring flowers on your kitchen table? This uses the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set and the Summer Smooch Designer Series Papers which are available only for April. You might recognize the card as using the same pattern as the Sweet Shop Designer Series Stickers and Paper last week on this blog. Click here to see that.
On this card, the only difference is that I used the Decorative Label Punch (p. 209 #120907 $16.95 and Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon. This is an example of how we use one idea and change the stamp set and accessories to get an entirely different look! I love how stamping helps us become more creative in that simple way!
Here is another card using the same Bright Blossoms Stamp Set and the Summer Smooch Designer Series Paper:
This card uses the Designer Frames Textured Embossing Folders which come in a set of two (the oval shown above and a rectangle). You can buy them for $8.95 or this month you can get them for FREE as your Sale A Bration Choice with a $50 order! The Extra Large Oval Punch (p. 212 #119859 $16.95) fits inside the Designer Frame. Add some Taffeta Ribbon and some words from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set (p. 164 #122495w $28.95, #122497c $20.95) and you have everything you need to make cards for a variety of occasions.
I hope this gets your creative juices flowing on how to use Bright Blossoms for spring card making ideas! Get the Designer Frames now as your Free Sale a bration choice and then get the Bright Blossoms and Summer Smooch Designer Series Paper in April!
