Who says elegance has to be complicated? This kimono card is the perfect example of how a few simple folds and cuts can create something stunning!
With just a bit of paper, you can create a beautiful design that looks intricate, yet it only takes a few quick steps.
The inside looks like this.
These cards are made with the Kintsugi Inspirations Designer Series Paper.
This is how easy it is to make!
- Score an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Designer Series Paper at 2-1/8″ on each side and fold towards the middle.
- With the fold lined up at the 2″ mark, cut 3/4″ on each side.
- Fold each side toward the middle. Then tuck these side folds inwards.
- Make a collar by turning over corners at the top of the kimono. Use a 1″ x 6″ DSP strip to create the belly band.
