2011 is drawing to a close. I will leave you this last post of the year featuring a creative Stampin' Up! card idea for a Minnesota winter. This is how it looks here today, except for the brown grass we have. (This was NOT a typical white Minnesota Christmas!) The trees are bare, the sky is cloudless, and a few snowflakes are in the air.
This card made by Betty Peterson using the Season of Friendship stamp set.
Don't you love how a card can capture the feel of a day, a setting, or an emotion? This card captures all three! It leaves me with a sense of peacefulness, wondering what is to come.
I really like the rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes. It catches the sparkly look of the snow falling down. If we actually had fresh snow on the ground, the silver glimmer paper would reflect that as well. We have a lot of birds visit our yard and our bird feeders in the winter, so I love that bird on the tree!

For now, I appreciate you sharing your time with me in reading my blog and I look forward to working with you in 2012! Be sure to let me know if you have ideas that you would like to see me try.
I hope you have a wonderful, peaceful New Year's Weekend and, even if you don't live Up North, enjoy this creative Stampin' Up! card idea for a Minnesota winter!
