Double One Sheet Wonder
First … the cards. This is called a Book Binding Fun Fold Card!
Next, a Pinwheel Card.
A Triangle Card
And, for lack of a better name – a Scrap Card!
Now for the instructions! Start with two coordinating 6″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.
These cards used the Hydrangea Haven Designer Series Paper, but change your paper and you get lots of different looks!
Lay the two papers one on top of the other and cut off 1/2″ on one edge.
Cut the rest at 4″, 9″ and 11’1/2″.
Now you will have three sections to work with.
This is the entire template – but its often easier just to cut the sections as you use them.
The cut pieces:
The sentiments on all of these cards are from the Happy Thoughts stamp set, stamped on Stitched Shapes Dies and then layered onto the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
Book Binding Cards
Take just the first section to make these.
Score the 11″ x 4-1/4″ cardstock at 5-1/2″ and at 6-3/4″. Fold like this.
Add the 4″ square and the 1″ x 4″ pieces of Designer Series Paper to the card front and the 4″ white square to the inside.
Add adhesive to the panel part of the cards and tie a ribbon around it as well. (Tip: With a punch or scissors, make little cuts to hold the ribbon in place.)
Triangle Cards
Take the two 5″ x 3-3/4″ pieces and cut them diagonally both directions.
Layer them on a 4″ 5-1/4″ piece of white cardstock and thats it!
Pinwheel Cards
Did you see all of the pinwheel cards we made with a variety of patterned papers? See them here!
Cut the two 2-1/2″ squares into four 1-1/8″ squares.
Take two 2-5/8″ squares of cardstock and attach one on top of the other at a diagonal.
Take the small squares of Designer Series Paper and attach them one at a time around this piece – tucking the last piece into place.
Easy Scrap Cards
Take the two 5″ strips and cut them different lengths.
Add them along the side of the card front, flipping over two of the four pieces.

Karen, Was able to watch your One Sheet Wonder class yesterday! I made all the cards and love them!? I especially love the pin-wheel card! And love you and your husband stamping together!
Thank you so much Karen. I love watching you and Tim doing cards together. Thank you for your detailed instruction.
Thank you so much!
Hi Karen & Tim ?
I just happened across your double one-sheet-wonder cards while I was looking for some cards I could make with the “Hydrangea Hill” DSP. Three other ladies and I do a OSW (one sheet wonder) challenge each month and this certainly fit the bill for my selection. Although I did choose some different DSP to use and I added embossing on a few cards, I’m very pleased with the outcome. I thought I’d share my cards with you, but I can’t seem to insert a photo in my comment here. Maybe I’ll look for an email address somewhere on your blog to share it there. Thanks for your OSW creation ?
Merci j’ai pris connaissance de votre travail et suis ravie de vous lire régulièrement.
Cordialement
Maguie
