Lots more pinwheel cards to see – but first, let’s look at what you need to make these cards.
Two 2-5/8″ squares of cardstock and eight 1-1/4″ squares of Designer Series Paper – thats it for the pinwheels.
The base card is half a sheet of cardstock (either 4-1/4″ x 11″ or 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″) scored in half and folded. Add a 5-1/4″ x 4″ layer on top of that.
An aside for a quick story here. I ran the 5-1/4″ x 4″ pieces (after stamping the sentiment on them) through the Subtles 3D embossing folder. I often say how this is my favorite and most used folder – well, this is what happened when I was making all of these cards! I have run hundreds of pieces of paper through this folder – so all I can say is – I certainly got my money’s worth out of it! Now, I can either buy a new one or fix it with duct tape – lol. (I will buy a new one!)
Black and white always makes a striking card. This is the True Love Designer Series Paper with words from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
The Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper makes beautiful pinwheel cards. The words are from the Bloom & Grow stamp set.
Now back to more pinwheel cards. This time with the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Rooted in Nature stamp set.
This is one of my favorites – these blues are great for any quilt card! This is paper from the Boho Indigo Product Medley with words from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
The beautiful Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper is beautiful for spring cards. This sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.
