This is a great all occasion stamp set and today I am using Embellished Events for Birthday Cards! This is one of the cards we are making at my Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack today and tomorrow.
There is a video tutorial below to show how to make this card. Embellished Events is a set of eleven stamps covering many occasions including weddings, babies, Christmas, birthdays, and more. The Oval Accent Bigs Clear Die and the Fancy Fan Folder are used with the Big Shot to make the front of the card which opens. Since there isn't a lot of room to write, I like to say this is the perfect kind of card for when you don't have a lot to say!
The flowered paper along the edge is from the Floral District designer series paper. The little flowers on the paper are similar to the flowers on one of the layers of the birthday cake stamp. I took the colors of card stock and ink from that paper, so I used Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, and Tangerine Tango. I used Stampin' Write Markers to color directly on the stamp.
Here is a video if you want to watch the step by step process.
Embellished Events is a great stamp set to give a new stamper since she can create cards for so many different occasions. Of course, those of us who are avid stampers can think of many different ways to use these stamps!
As I mentioned, this is one of the cards at my Birthday Stamp-a-Stack. For a list of all of my classes, just click here. All of my classes can be taken on-the-go! That means I will send you the cut materials, minus any stamping, and directions so you can create the cards with the same stamp set I used (if you own it or are ordering it) or you can just substitute a different stamp set and still have an amazing card! Email me if you have any questions!
Whether you are someone just getting involved with stamping or you have been stamping for years, enjoy using Embellished Events for Birthday Cards!
