Have you tried making a Bendi Card yet? The Hometown Greetings Edgelits are perfect for this fun fold card.
Bundle this with the Hearts Come Home Stamp Set and save 10%.
Step by step instructions to make a bendi card
Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 5 1/4″ x 4 1/8″.
Cut three pieces of Thick Whisper White Card Stock: one 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, one 5 1/2″ x 4″ and the third 5 1/2″ x 3″.
Score the two smaller pieces 1/2″ on each side.
Between the score lines, place the Edgelits and run through the Big Shot. Trim the tops off both pieces.
Attach the two pieces to the sides of the Designer Series Paper.
Layer that piece on the largest Whisper White piece. Notice how the DSP fits right along the bottom edge of the Whisper White – since this will be a stand up card.
Cut a slit in the DSP about 1 1/2″ from the left side – and about half way down from the village piece. Cut along the fold line of the white piece, leaving a tab to slide into the slit.
Curve the right side white piece to where you want it – then cut a slit down half of the fold line and an equal amount going up on the other curved piece. Slide those together and the card is finished!
This card is sure to impress! It folds flat to mail – but if your recipient would have no idea how to put it together – it might be best given in person!
