Its always fun to make a handmade card with an unexpected twist.
Quick & Easy Patterned Occasions Card with a Fun Fold
This is how it looks when it is closed:
You will see three Stampin' Up! Punches used on this card! I couldn't get along without having all those Stampin' Up! Punches!!!
To open, you lift the from part up and it looks like this:
and then it opens one more level and that is where you can write your message:
You can watch the video tutorial below. Here are the written directions:
1. Start with base of 4" x 11". Score at 2 3/4" and again at 4 1/4". Fold up. (This card uses Crumb Cake)
2. Open the card and slide the 2 1/2" Circle Punch all the in from the side, with its center on the fold line. Punch out.
3. Punch a piece of Not Quite Navy with the 1 3/4" Scalloped Circle Punch, and a piece of Whisper White with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.
4. Stamp the "whole latte love" from Patterned Occasions on the circle with Tangerine Tango.
5. Fold up the card, attach the punched out pieces, and decorate the rest of the card however you want using the Sycamore Street Designer Series Papers.
Thats it!

Cute card. How does it stay closed?
Thanks
Andrea
Thanks, Andrea! I forgot to mention that! I actually use a bit of the snail adhesive – enough to hold it closed, but not too much to prevent it from opening or tearing the paper. It will still attach and close again for quite a while. You could also use a Velcro dot or a magnet, but I find that cards don’t close flat when i use those.
