I’ve got something really fun to share today—a little sneak peek of some beautiful new papers, and we’re putting them right to work! We’re using one simple card layout and making a whole dozen cards, each one with a completely different look.
It’s amazing how just changing the paper can take a card from elegant… to cute… to even a little more masculine. This is one of my favorite ways to use up pretty paper and make a stack of cards without a lot of thinking—just pick your paper and let it do the work!
All of the sentiments and dies used in these cards are from the Scalloped Blooms Bundle.
This card feature the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper.
Here’s how easy it is:
- Score a regular 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” card base in half and fold.
- Adhere a 4” x 5-1/4” cardstock on the card front.
- Adhere a 1-1/2” x 5-1/4” DSP strip across the card front.
- Layer a 3” x 3” DSP square onto a 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” cardstock piece and adhere on the card front (you can do it straight or at an angle).
- Add your accent and sentiment pieces.
Now, let’s take a look at more cards featuring some of the new papers coming in the May – August 2026 catalog!
Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper has lush greenery, ferns, and delicate floral accents.

The Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper features vivid colors and layered textures of coastal sunsets.
If you love pastels and florals, you will love the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper.
The Everyday Essentials Designer Series Paper coordinates beautifully with a variety of seasonal themes and color palettes.
Simple change like making the square straight while angling the strip gives the card a different look!
These cards feature the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper.
Instead of using a layered DSP square, you can use die cuts or fussy cut images.
