Today's card and video share a Stampin' Up! new punch idea for the Scallop Trim Border Punch!
Have you seen this done before?
This makes a lovely border for any card or scrap book page. Notice the little pearl accents, and the
background paper repeats the idea of the pearls with the Perfect Polka Dot Folder. (p.189 #117335 $7.95)
On this card the punch border is paired with the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (p. 78 #126745w $26.95,
#126747c $18.95) You will find the written instructions on how to do this with the Stampin' Up! Scallop
Trim Border Punch (p. 183 #119882 $15.95) below the video tutorial which will show you step by step
how to make this card.
Did you see how easy that was? For this particular border, I used a strip of card stock that was 9/16" wide.
Using different widths will give you different looks, so play around with this idea and see what works for
different cards.
Start with punching along one side of the strip of cards stock. I like to start in the middle if the piece of card
stock is small because I can just center it on the punch. When one side is finished, turn the strip over and
do the very same thing on the other side. That's all there is to it!
Do you love the Stippled Blossoms stamp set as much as I do. If you have been stamping for awhile, you
might remember the days of the two step rose stamp set that Stampin' Up! used to carry. I always loved that set and I'm happy to have another two step flower stamp that gives this classy type of look again. I know you will love playing with it.
What is the first brand new stamp set from the new catalog that you are playing with? Be sure to try out this Stampin' Up! new punch idea for the Scallop Trim Border Punch!
This would be a good easy one for the Norwegian relative's gift.

Great technique! I’ll have to give it a try. Oh and I like the one you did off center, very pretty effect.
