One of the best parts of cardmaking is discovering how a small change can create a completely different look. That’s exactly what these twist cards are all about! By adjusting some score lines, you can take the same supplies and end up with two very different fun fold cards. It’s such an easy twist (pun intended!) but the results are anything but ordinary.
These are the card fronts.
They fold out like this…
This is what changing one simple score line can do! Such an easy way to change up your cards. Watch the video below for the details on making the change.
First, lets make this Twist Card.
I love the watercolor look of this paper from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper pack.
Here’s the scoring template for a 4-1/4″ x 11″ card base.
And here’s another card one using the Turtle’y Cute Designer Series Paper.
Look how fun to see it when it’s twisted and all laid out!
Now to change it to a Twisted Easel Card.
All you need to do is make another scoring at vertically at 4-1/4″ and change the direction of the diagonal scoring.
The Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper is another beautiful paper pack from the new Mini Catalog.
You can use your sentiment attached with dimensionals to keep it propped-up.
