I made this Baptism Card for my grand daughter. It would be great for Easter too.
The shiny cross is made with the Window Sheets embossed in the Chevron folder. It picks up light from all around and it also shows the color of the inside of the card. This is a quick and easy stamping technique, but before I show you the Just a Minute video, this proud grandma will share a picture of the little one!
Alannah’s baptism dress was made by her great great great grandmother and first worn by her great great grandmother in 1902. It’s since been worn by her great grandfather, great uncles, grandmother, father and second cousins, making her the fifth generation in 112 years. (Look at the beautiful handmade lace on it.)
You know how I love things with a past……this dress certainly has one!
Now….back to the card. I actually have two videos for you today. The first will show you in Just a Minute how to make the inside of the cross. The second will show you how I used the Simply Scored to map out the pattern of the cross, then the Trimmer to cut it out.

How to Make this Cross Pattern with Simply Scored!
Wouldn’t this be perfect for First Communion and/or Confirmation cards as well? All those special religious events – and we don’t even need a stamp to make it! Have fun with this idea.
