Use this quick and easy card layout and a punch of your choice to make these lovely handmade cards.
How bright and cheery is this cherry card made with the Cherry Builder Punch (which coordinates with the Sweetest Cherries Stamp Set)! The 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper add to the brightness for sure.
Take this quick card layout and step it up!
You can take this basic idea and step it up by using an embossing folder on the 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer like on this card using the Songbird Builder Punch (which coordinates with the Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set). The Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder makes a great backdrop for this songbird! The Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper finishes this card.
Want more ideas on how to step up this easy card? How about this set of four cards made with the Sailboat Builder Punch and the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper! Notice how the layers on the top two cards are different colors and the bottom two both use the Into The Clouds Embossing Folder. Instead of the white, that fourth card uses Tahitian Tide for both layers.
Which is your favorite and does this give you even more ideas of changing up your cards?
Do you see the difference the Gingham Embossing Folder adds to this card using the Penguin Builder Punch (which coordinates with the Penguin Place Stamp Set). These penguins are the same except the one is sitting and one is standing. The only difference is how the pieces are attached. The snowflake paper is from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.

This deer card using the Deer Builder Punch can be used with Gold Foil Paper and the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper for a class look like this. How easy would it be to change this to crumb cake and natural background papers for a more typical masculine card?
The Fish Builder Punch with the A Fish & A Wish Stamp Set makes this fun card. The Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper finishes the card.
So…what supplies do you need to make this card with a punch?
That is it – except for adding any punch of your choice!
Stack the two pieces of Designer Series Paper together and cut at an angle.
Attach those to the black piece leaving 1/4″ borders all around.
Add that to your card base and add your punch! Finished!
