A corner bookmark card is both a bookmark and a card – so a little extra gift! If you love giving books and gift cards for bookstores as gifts like we do, this is a fun card to go with it.
What child wouldn’t love to get a card like this along with a new book to read? The Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper will brighten anyone’s day.
Kids will love making these diy corner bookmarks.
If you craft with kids, these corner bookmarks will be a big hit! You can make them as little gifts to give without adding them to a card!
Masculine cards, birthday cards – this fun fold is for everyone.
For those masculine cards, the He’s the Man Designer Series Paper is a perfect fit.
Hearts are always in style, like this card made with the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper and the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper.
The same Country Gingham Designer Series Paper is used the same way on this card with the Friendly Gnomes stamp set.
Step by Step Directions on Making a Corner Pocket Bookmark Card
Supplies:
Start with the 5″ square piece of Designer Series Paper and fold it half both directions.
Cut out one of the squares creating by the folding and fold the opposite square like this.
Fold the squares under each other and add adhesive along one edge of the bottom fold.
Add your accent piece and your bookmark is done!
Add it to the card made with the 6-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of basic white cardstock, scored @ 3-1/4″ and folded.
Decorate as desired.
If you want to add this to a full sized card, the card base is the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Designer Series Paper layered on the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock.
Before adding this to the card bae, tuck a small piece of ribbon under the front with adhesive.
I love making a pattern out of copy paper with the dimensions on it. This will make it easy to recreate.

I’ve watched this tutorial at least three times as I love this so much. We are a family of readers, so I’m going to have great fun making these! I just printed your project sheet (s) and I’m so grateful to have that to refer to. Perfect project for a snowy Saturday in NH! Thanks for all your tips!
