Three fun fall cards using techniques I made Youtube videos about back in 2013! The Gorgeous Leaves Bundle is used for today’s cards.
Make Your Own Patterned Paper
The video below shows each of these cards being made.
Start with randomly stamping an entire 8-1/2″ x 11″piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze Ink Pads.
Cut the cardstock in half the long way at 4-1/4″. Then cut each half into three 3-1/2″ pieces. (You will get six cards out of each sheet.)
Tear off part of the bottom. (Save this piece for the card inside.)
Attach the stamped piece to a 3-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Old Olive cardstock.
Tear the Old Olive cardstock as well.
Tie twine around this piece before attaching it to the base card. (The base card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Designer Series Paper layered on a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock which has been folded in half.)
Masking Tape & Thumping Techniques
Stamping with masking tape creates the lovely background and the leaf itself is colored with markers!
Here is the original video – its really short!
Easy Gift Card Holder
For a quick birthday card or a little thank you gift – these easy to make gift card holders are fun!
The directions are in the video below.
And here are all three of these ideas done at one time!
This is a replay of a live show so go to 21:00 to see the cards being made!
