These cards all look different – but they are really all the same card design. How fun is that? You will use this over and over again for quick cards.
Let’s look at one more closely. This Hue of Happiness Designer Series Paper does all the work! Even the cut out flowers and leaves are from the paper. There are coordinating dies in the Happiness Abounds Bundle or you can fussy cut!
Many of these cards also use the Glitter Washi Tape on p. 57 of the 2022 July – December Mini Catalog. It is so sparkly and it is just the perfect width to use for these cards! The others use twine – so be creative.
This card uses the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (one of the free Saleabration choices with a $50 order.)
There are lots of houses to choose from so you can make a variety of these cards. I chose to make this a birthday card since I send out 150 birthday cards each month, but wouldn’t this make a great housewarming card or a thank you for a dinner invite or time spent at a friend’s house?
There are more cards to come – but first, what do you need to make these cards?
You will actually start with the tiny piece of Designer Series Paper – so what a great time to check your scrap bin! Build the rest of the card around the colors in that.
You will just add the patterned paper to the white piece, tie some twine or add some washi tape and assemble the card.
How cute is this corgi from the Glad We’re Friends stamp set? As you can see, you can easily use your stamps to complete this card!
Here are more cards highlighting the pretty papers!
I just love the bright colors and the cute butterflies in the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. I fussy cut the butterflies while watching TV – I can’t just sit and watch. I have a packet of these ready whenever I need a quick card. (There is coordinating stamp set and dies too – the Best Butterflies Bundle.)
The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper is another favorite!
These trees are from the Santa Express Designer Series Paper, which shows how even Christmas paper can be used for other occasions.
Using that same paper – but this time, a cute Holiday card.
Another stamped card using the Garden Grandeur stamp set.
And a cute card from the Happier than Happy Bundle and the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper.
