What a sweet little package for a treat of any kind. I received one from Heidi Scholler – a shout out to her – with a tea bag inside. I have recreated it for today’s project.
This first one has an extra ribbon so it can hang on the tree. Think of the fun you could have with that.
I share this tip and some ideas for using it in the short video below, but first let’s look at more.
This is from the same pack of Designer Series Paper. How pretty would a basket of these look on the table?
When you untie the package, this is what happens.
See how it is made with a circle?
Change the Designer Series Paper and you will get an entirely different look.
I love the idea of having a variety and letting people choose one.
How to Make Tiny Treat Bags
These treat bags were made with 5″ and 6″ circles cut out with the Deckled Circles Dies. (The largest size and the third largest size)
Don’t have dies? You can even trace around a bowl to get the size you want! I think it would be fun to make these in a much larger size so they could hold more candy!
What makes these so easy is that you can freely draw pencil lines on the inside because you won’t see them! Notice how both sizes just use one measurement. If you use a larger circle just increase the measurement.
