Easel cards are fun to make! You will love this new variation.
I love how straight it stands. The Paper Butterfly Accent completes this card made with the Perennial Postage Dies and the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.
This next easel card uses the Stippled Roses Bundle with the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper.
The Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper is also so easy to use with this fun fold card.
I used the Perennial Postage Dies for each of these cards, but you can use any die or just cut your cardstock to size.
Each card lies flat like this for mailing.
How to Make a News and Different Easel Card
Supplies:
Score the base card @ 1-1/4″ and 4-1/4″. Accordion fold.
Cut the 5-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ of Designer Series Paper into these sizes.
Add these pieces to the card base.
Layer the other pieces to create the easel part of the card.
Attach this just to the front fold on the card.
Stamp your sentiment on a small piece of cardstock and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up on the bottom of the card. This will hold the easel up.
Try this with different papers and stamp sets and come share your cards with us over in the Back Porch Stampers.
