The Little House in the Woods made with Punches!
This would make a pretty little gift on its own or use it as a package topper! It’s easy to make as you will see!
On this post, I am offering two tutorials: one in pictures and one in video. First, the pictures:
The What’s Up Punch makes the house.
Both the house and the roof are made from the Under the Tree DSP.
I also punched out the roof shape with Glimmer Paper, then free hand cut that piece to look like snow on the rooftop.
The tiny door and window are cut out with the same paper as the roof.
Next, I punched out three trees and added a little Glimmer Paper on top.
This is how the house and the tree ended up looking.
The base of the scene is also from the Under the Tree DSP cut out with the Circle Framelits and folded in half. This paper is heavier than regular card stock so it holds the shape well.
I added a half circle of Gimmer Paper, and then I attached the house and trees with dimensionals! I added as many as were needed to get the look I wanted, and, for the house, I even added one on the bottom to help hold the bottom at a 90 degree angle.
Make a Winter Scene in 3D with Stampin’ Up! Punches!
Isn’t that easy? I’m sure you can think of other things to add to a scene like this. Have fun with this idea and, by the way, all products used can be purchased here!
