Christmas to me has always been a time of making special gifts. Starting with a playdoh candy dish at a very young age and going through the potholders made on a loom (sounding familiar?) and progressing on to quilts and other crafts…….lots of memories there! I wish I had been a photographer during those times. Wouldn’t the progression of hand make gifts make a great page?
I carried on the same tradition with our five kids. It has always seemed that, with kids, focusing attention on making gifts and thinking of the people you are making it for keeps some of the focus off of "What am I getting?"
This is a great gift idea to make – and if you have children, this is a gift they can help with.
I will be teaching this class at my home on November 30. Come and make several if you want. Email for more information.
I will list the stamp sets I used, but, of course, you can take this idea and use whatever you have. Get creative!
