It is wonderful to have a brayer back! Here are a few tips for making beautiful cards with it.
The brayer used to be one of my go-to tools back in the day. So… I thought I would remember how to use it.
Alas, this brayer is different – so I need to relearn how to do many techniques all over again.
But for today, let’s enjoy a few basics!

Easy Brayer Techniques
- Coloring or sponging look. How easy it is to color a bunch of these cute butterflies at one time! Paper Butterfly Accents
2. Brayering ink over large stamps like this Rays of Light Background Stamp. The first card is done with Daffodil Delight Ink and the second with Crushed Curry Ink.
3. Using the brayer to color the inside of an embossing folder (like this Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder) creates this look.
4. The soft snowy background on this card using the Grassy Grove stamp set was also made with the brayer.
