This is the contest winning creative card with the Tea Shoppe at our Fine Line meeting last night. The demonstrators that attended voted on their favorite card and this one by Lori Kusant took the top prize! Isn't it beautiful?
Doesn't this make you want to invite someone over for tea? I love the quote "'Stay' is a charming word in a friend's vocabulary" by Louis May Alcott. I loved reading her books years ago and this tea cup makes me think of the settings of her books. This card speaks to me of "cherished friendships". I love tea and many wonderful conversations with friends have taken place over a cup of tea.
The Paper Doily made from a sizzlets die reminds me of an old fashioned tea parlor where tea is served on hand crocheted doilies. The Victorian looking Patterns Designer Series Paper makes a perfect background and is complimented by the pleated satin ribbon and the little pearls in the corner. This card gives an old time look, but this set could also be used with a modern twist!

Another stamp in this set Tea Shoppe has a row of three smaller teacups. Each is completely different from the others and can be used individually or together. Other words include "a cup of thanks", "you suit me to a tea", "just for you", and "tea for two, just me & you". Think of all the occasions you can use this set for…party invitations, thank yous, an invitation for one special friend, a card to accompany a gift of tea! Use this contest winning creative card using Tea Shoppe for inspiration!
