These faker shaker cards are so easy to make and they are perfect for any occasion!
All you need is a clear envelope, a 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of patterned paper (Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper here), a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of cardstock and a base card. That’s it except for whatever you are going to add for the shaking! Sequins, tiny beads, sand….lots of different things will work.
These adorable penguins are perfect for the winter card above and for the colorful card below! (Pattern Party Designer Series Paper)
Both of these cards use the Many Messages stamp set with the Messages Dies for the sentiments. What a great way to have assorted sentiment strips on hand – watch the video below to see more about that.
For a Christmas card, this Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper includes so many fun frosted images to cut out (or use the coordinating dies). The Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes do the shaking. These would be more noticeable with a plainer patterned paper background, something I will keep in mind for next time!.
This fun flower card using the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper would fit a lot of different occasions. The Medium Daisy Punch and the Label Me Lovely Punch were used for the accent piece. The Loose Flower Flourishes are on the inside of the envelope.
This card was highlighted in the last blog post! Whether for a Christmas card like this, or a birthday card or any other wintry occasion card, this Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper is gorgeous.
Now its your turn to make a Faker Shaker Card – and we would love to see what you come up with. Post your cards over the Back Porch Stampers!
