Fun fold cards are always a favorite because they add a little something extra while still being simple to make, and this tri-fold design is such a great one to keep in your card-making rotation.
What I especially love about this card is how efficient it is for using up Designer Series Paper. This design uses just one 12″ x 3″ strip of DSP, which means you can get 4 cards from one 12″ x 12″ sheet. It’s a wonderful way to showcase pretty patterned paper while also getting the most out of your supplies.
This card features the Paper Medley Designer Series Paper.
Here’s how easy it is to make:
- Adhere a 4” x 5-1/4” mat layer on a 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” card base.
- Score a 12” x 3” DSP piece at 3-1/4”, 8-1/2”, and 11-1/4”. Accordion fold. Adhere this on the card front.
- Adhere one 2” x 4” Basic White piece on the inside of the card.
- Stamp your sentiment and adhere your accent pieces on another 2” x 4” Basic White piece. Adhere this on the 3/4” panel front flap of the DSP.
This layout is easy to customize with different papers, stamped images, and sentiments, so you can create birthday cards, thank you cards, or just about any occasion card with the same basic fold.
