Ready for another quick and easy fun fold card? This envelope flap card looks like an envelope but opens into a regular card. How cool is that?
The He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper includes a bunch of die cuts so its all ready to use. That vintage automobile, the trees, the words – all are included.
Here is another version.
The Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper has the cutest creatures to fussy cut – or there are dies for that! (Playing in the Rain Bundle)
Have fun playing with different colors of cardstock. Which color is your favorite?
For a lovely floral card for any occasion, try the Petal Park Bundle with the Regency Park Designer Series Paper. This bundle includes a punch for the flowers so its great for beginner card makers who don’t have a lot of supplies (yet – lol)! The other punch used is the Decorative Circle Punch – one that I use a lot!
Here are a couple more, one with fussy cutting the floral arrangement from the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper and the other, a study in blue, using the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Simply Fabulous stamp set.
How to Make an Envelope Flap Card
Supplies:
Score the 8″ x 5-1/4″ cardstock at 4″ and fold.
Fold the square of Designer Series Paper in half to make a triangle shape.
Attach half of the triangle to the back of the card like this.
Fold up the card
and add an accent with Stampin’ Dimensionals just on the two ends so the flap will tuck inside.
Look at the variety of accents you can use to close this card – from the cute critters to the automobile to flowers or sentiment strips.

I totally messed up
On this card. I glued it down then realized I glued it upside down. In the process of pulling it apart I tore one side of base paper. I covered it w a washi tape design. I don’t know what I did but I ended up with the triangle flap showing on back of card also! What fun. All in all I like the card!
