After scraping the frost off my card yet again this April morning, I knew I needed to post a flower card!
I’m still dreaming, anyway…
On this card, I used the Floral Framelits, but cut off the top of it so it would lay flat across the top. I added the lines along the edges with the Basic Black Marker, both to make it stand out more, and to coordinate with the black lines in the Modern Medley DSP. (Modern Medley is filled with assorted black and white patterns – I love it!)
The flower is made with the Blossom Punch, the 1″ and 3/4″ Circle Punches and one of the large rhinestones. Quick, easy, and colorful!
Just a Minute! Floral Framelits Accent
Black, white and red always make a striking color combination. A bright Daffodil Delight or Melon Mambo flower would look great too.
…and may visions of brightly colored flowers be with you today!
I love the colours you’ve used, and the pattern on the black and white backing is lovely.
So cute! Love it!
