Four fun cards and a fun fold card box — all made from the Curvy Celebrations from Stampin’ Up!
We’ll start with the cards. The leaves from the Quite Curvy Bundle are colored with Stampin’ Blends on Crumb Cake cardstock.
The Cajun Craze card stock is cut freehand so that the leaves will fit right over its edge, making the top front of the card in Crumb Cake and the bottom Cajun Craze.
The Curvy Christmas stamp set is an additional item offered just through December. It uses the same Curvy Dies – so it makes sense to add it and create lots more cards. This lovely tree card could be a sympathy card or birthday card as well as a Christmas card.
For a lovely spring look, the bird and flowers are colored with Purple Posy Blends.
The frame is made using two of the square dies in the Stitched Shapes Dies. The flowers are fun to string though the frame.
Now, for a totally different look! Start with the three largest circles in the Stitched Shapes Dies, cutting a different piece of the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper with each.
Cut each circle in half and arrange on the card like the photo shows.
(The trees are from the Pine Woods Dies.)
This easy Box Card is fun to give. It mails flat, and when you pull on the sides, it opens into a box!
It will hold a gift card, a special note – or small flat gifts like some handmade gift tags!
Start with a 10″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Shaded Spruce card stock.
Along the 10″ side, score @ 2″ and 3-1/2″. Turn the card stock to the opposite side and repeat.
Turn the card stock 90 degrees and score @ 1-1/2″. Turn it around and repeat.
Fold on all of the score lines.
Cut along the lines in four places as shown in the photo. You will cut across the first fold and stop at the second fold each time.
Cut the four corner rectangles off.
Mark the center of the attached 3″ middle section at 1-1/2″. Score from that point to each corner. Watch the video above to see how I used the Simply Scored to do that.
Fold on those new lines so that the box will fold inward.
Fold in the sides of the box.
Add Tear ‘n Tape to the corner sections.
Wrap the ends with the tape around the card base. Your box card will look like this.
It will fold flat.
