Today I am hosting a Handmade Birthday Card Stamp a Stack in Minnesota. If you live near Minneapolis/St Paul and like to stamp, be sure to opt in to my mailing list on the right hand column to receive notices about upcoming events. I would love to have you come!
Birthday cards are always great to have on hand. It seems like those annual events keep sneaking up on us! This is one of the handmade birthday cards we are making:
This is a view of the inside:
There is plenty of room on the inside to either stamp "Happy Birthday" (especially if you don't want to write anything!) or to use for your personal writing. In addition to the obvious birthday card idea, wouldn't this be fun to give with a cupcake just to brighten someone's day? Imagine going to work and finding this card and a beautiful cupcake on your desk!!! You can do that for someone.
There is actually no stamping on this card. It uses the Sweet Shop Designer Stickers and the coordinating Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper. Add a few Stampin Up! punches and you can make great cards with these two items. I have mentioned before that I think this would make a great craft kit gift idea for girls. Of course, as adults, we can enjoy working with it too!
